Back by popular demand we are hosting another installation of Startup Drinks. Again we are partnering with our life-science brethren, the BioBeers crew, at Twisted Pine Brewing Company at 3201 Walnut Street in Boulder at 6:30pm.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

As our man Adam Rubenstein so eloquently describes it, “two great tastes that taste great together! There is only one thing better than peanut butter + chocolate and that is BioBeers + Startup Drinks.”

Startup Drinks is once again partnering with BioBeers to host a rip-roaring good time with friends new and old from the startup, techie, and entrepreneur community (yes, that means you!). Come hang out, throw a few back, mix and mingle right after the infamous Boulder Denver New Tech meetup at the Twisted Pine Brewing Company on Tuesday, April 7th anytime after 6:30. For all you BDNT’ers out there, we went big this event and have arranged for the Go Fast Party Bus to shuttle you to Twisted Pine and back. Seats are first come, first served, so be ready. So grab some biz cards and on come down.

Lets get the party started (again)! In the hopes of fostering relationships, connecting new people, continuing to build the Boulder Tech/Entrepreneur community and of course having some fun, Boulder’s own Startup Drinks is back! Be on the look out for events around Boulder this year. Follow this blog, Boulder.me, Startup Drinks Boulder on Twitter, and/or the Boulder tech calendar for continued information and please contact me if you have ideas, want to host events, or spread the word about other activities.

Liquid courage will be flowing at the first event of 2009, a partner event with the life sciences startup club BioBeers at The Foundry on February 24th. As Adam Rubenstein of BioBeers so aptly states, “…this is our time to shine, to be creative and to rejuvenate the economy with a shot of molecular innovation! Smart people, frothy beer and an exchange of ideas is as good a place to start as any…” Oh yeah, and there will be drink specials.

What: Duh.
Why: Do you need a reason?
When: February 24th at 6:30pm (feel free to arrive later - see below)
Where: The Foundry (no, not Brad Feld’s office, sorry to get all your hopes up) at 1109 Walnut St. in Boulder.
Who: You and a bunch of friends from the Boulder tech/entrepreneur scene and a crew of sure to be crazy BioBeers characters.

Of note: Jason Mendelson, Managing Director of the Foundry Group, is speaking at a very interesting Silicon Flatiron’s Crash Course prefacing our Startup Drinks + BioBeers Bonanza titled “Raising Venture Capital”. The seminar is being given at the Wolf Law building, rm 204 on the CU Boulder campus from 5:15 – 6:45, more info (HERE). For those in attendance, we can gather afterwards and head to The Foundry. I will be wearing a Bianchi cycling cap, find me.

The RedFish has been treating us well, so let’s continue to meet there.
